File Secure Error "Please connect to Internet"
Solution There can be two causes to these issues:

1) You have some firewall or anti-virus software running on your PC that is preventing the File Secure Viewer from connecting to the Internet to register your file.

Try TEMPORARILY disabling all anti-virus and firewall software that is running on your PC first. Then opening the File Secure file. Once the file is open and registered, you can then re-activate your firewall and/or anti-virus software.

If you still receive the connection error, see point #2.

2) Some PC may require you to be logged in as the administrator in order for File secure to connect to the Internet or to install software that modifies the registry like the File Secure Pro Viewer.

If you are using Windows Vista, right-click on the file and choose "run as administrator". You should now be able to run the file without errors.

If you are using Windows XP:

1. In Windows Explorer, click the program executable file that you want to open.
2. Press SHIFT and hold, right-click the program icon, and then click Run as.
3. To log on using an Administrator account, click The following user.
4. In User name and Password, type the Administrator account name and password that you want to use.

Your issue is most likely #2.
